I was doing research for a prospective client and found out that one of the most popular fan pages on facebook was a SCUBA diving website that has yet to launch.
They used it to test if there was not only a market, but a market within the right social technographic. Now, if they launch they have 15,000 people ready to help launch it with them- whole lot easier than starting from 0.
